Here are some resources I am currently using to learn more about the VAST world of physical therapy, strength and conditioning, and health in general.

I’ll add to this list as time goes on (here’s lookin at you, kid ;)) but let me know if you have any recommendations. I am always looking for new reads.


#1: Ultimate Resource Guide on Dr. John Rusin’s website

If you are into strength & conditioning and sports nutrition/performance AT ALL, then go no further, because you’ve just hit the jackpot:

This is an insanely valuable list of articles and book recommendations. I love it because it goes from beginner level to intermediate/advanced, and not only includes sports performance info, but also nutrition!

I am very much on that beginner level, and actually juuuust got Mark Vestegen’s book, Core Performance, which will be a good intro/foundation for learning all things strength & conditioning.

#2: Pre-DPT Society

This one’s for Pre-Physical Therapy students. It’s a virtual club for Pre-Doctor of Physical Therapy students. Be a part of a pre-DPT club from anywhere in the world!

#3: Pre-PT Grind

This one is huge if you’re a Pre-Physical Therapy student. Their mission is trying to help students like us get into PT school.

There is so much advice in their Facebook group, and it’s just filled w/students asking questions and advice on how to strengthen applications and how to be more competitive in the process!
