When I study I like to get in the zone. I love having a cup of hot tea or a coffee. Sometimes if I know it will be a long day of studying, I go with the tea over coffee just because I’m less jittery that way. A hot peppermint tea is perfect.
But beverages aren’t everything when it comes to the study zone. I also need the right music.
I have my top 5 picks for study music ( no lyrics plz! ) which are right >>>here.
Today I’m listening to this album I found on youtube Sol De Bossa (bossa nova full album) >>>here.
It’s overflowing with lyrics, but it’s okay this time because they’re all in Spanish! I think it’s Spanish…?
medical term :: blepharitis
Definition: eyelid – Medical Dictionary
breakdown: blephar (eyelid) + itis (inflammation)
Definition: Blepharitis commonly occurs when tiny oil glands located near the base of the eyelashes become clogged. This leads to irritated and red eyes. Several diseases and conditions can cause blepharitis. -Mayo Clinic
This word is pretty relevant to my exact moment in time…I am currently fighting to stay awake from a loooong day and I’m just trying to keep my eyes open! Good day – just long.
I don’t have blepharitis thank goodness but blepharospasms ( involuntary tight closure of the eyelids ) make me think of that time in high school when I was nodding off in my government class. Senioritis was definitely a thing in that government class…
So blepharospasms and falling asleep in class are not exactly the same thing, but anything to commit this stuff to memory, right? 😉
BTW ~ here’s the music I’m listening to as I write this post ::
